At the tail end of 2024 , Janaina Lima lost her re-election bid for the city councilor position she’d previously held and she was forced to vacate her office by January 1st. While moving out, security video saw Lima wheeling out a toilet and two sinks from the office, leading to accusations of bathroom fixture theft.
