But it turns out, while beer is the drink of choice for most Americans, about 43% prefer beer as opposed to wine (32%), there are some states in the country that consume a lot more brews than others.

Well, 24/7 Wall Street has just come out with a list revealing the states that drink the most beer, and you may be surprised by the results. Landing at number one is New Hampshire, which has a per-capita consumption rate of about 40.6-gallons of beer, with total beer consumption at 41.8-million gallons. The area also has 213 bars and restaurants per 100,000 people, which is the tenth highest.
