Before getting into a “friends with benefits” relationship, you’ve got to make sure you know your role…and stick with it. When you find yourself in bed alone and thinking about someone to cuddle with, you better not call you FWB and expect him/ her to sleep over and then cook you breakfast in the morning. That’s breaking the FWB code!
When you do get into one of these relationships, here are some issues that you gotta know going in:
- It goes against core human interaction
- One of you may develop feelings for the other (and generally, someone always does)
- You close yourself off to meeting someone who could give you more
- You risk losing the friendship altogether
